Benefits of Membership
CFA Society of Orlando generally meets from October
through March (check our calendar). We primarily have luncheon meetings, but ocasionally
dinner meetings. Our meetings are designed to increase the knowledge of the area's
investment professionals through the use of guest speakers on topics of interest
to the members.
Every year we conduct a survey among our members regarding
their interest in speakers. Based on the survey, we select speakers covering
timely topics of interest. Please see our calendar history for a sample of
past speakers. Prior speakers include Jim Rogers, Mark Faber, Abby Joseph Cohen, Richard Hokenson,
and A. Marshall Acuff, Jr., to name a few. The meetings are open to society members
and guests with reservations made in advance.
The Society also sponsors a CFA candidate
social so that candidates in the Orlando area can meet each other and form study
